エネルギー高等研究局（Advanced Research Projects Agency-Energy: ARPA-E）は、2件の新しい資金提供公募（Funding Opportunity Announcement）を発表する。一つは、先端原子炉技術の研究開発プロジェクトを支援するもので、もう一つは、極めて効率的に天然ガスを電力に転換するためのハイブリッド燃料電池及びエンジン・システムの開発プロジェクトである。
