商務省（Department of Commerce）は、2018-2022年の戦略計画書「米国経済の成長を助ける（Helping the American Economy Grow）」を公表した。報告書は、①米国リーダーシップの加速、②雇用創出の強化、③米国経済及び国家安全保障の強化、④憲法上の要件の遂行と経済活動の支援、⑤顧客重視型の卓越したサービスの提供、という5つの戦略目標を掲げ、各目標に向けた取り組みがまとめられている。
