国家情報長官室（Office of the Director of National Intelligence）は、情報高等研究開発活動（Intelligence Advanced Research Projects Activity: IARPA）の次期長官としてキャサリン・マーシュ氏（Catherine Marsh）を選出したと発表した。同氏は、5月にIARPA長官を退任したステイシー・ディクソン氏（Stacey Dixon）（国家地理空間情報局（National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency）の副長官に就任）の後任となる。マーシュ氏は、2013年から2015年までIARPAの副長官を務め、最近は、中央情報局（Central Intelligence Agency: CIA）の科学技術総局（Directorate of Science & Technology）でのポジションを有していた。​
