国家情報長官室（Office of the Director of National Intelligence: ODNI）の国家対諜報活動・安全保障センター（National Counterintelligence and Security Center: NCSC）は7月24日、ODNIの経済安全保障・新興技術局（Office of Economic Security and Emerging Technology: OESET）、空軍特別捜査局（Air Force Office of Special Investigations: AFOSI）、海軍犯罪捜査サービス（Naval Criminal Investigative Service: NCIS）と共に、米国の新興技術スタートアップを海外の脅威当事者による投資から保護することを目的として、「我々のイノベーションを守る（Safeguarding our Innovation）」と題する合同通知を発表した。合同発表は、こうした脅威に加え、潜在的な示唆、軽減ステップ、事案の報告先についても情報を提供している。
