連邦ネットワーキング及び情報技術研究開発（Federal Networking and Information Technology Research and Development：NITRD）プログラムは今般、「2023年度連邦サイバーセキュリティR&D戦略的計画実践ロードマップ（FY2023 Federal Cybersecurity R&D Strategic Plan Implementation Roadmap）」を発表した。これは、NITRDプログラム傘下のサイバーセキュリティ及び情報確証省庁間作業部会（Cyber Security and Information Assurance (CSIA) Interagency Working Group）が開発した2019年の「連邦サイバーセキュリティ研究開発戦略的計画（Federal Cybersecurity Research and Development Strategic Plan）」について、2023年度の実践計画を示したものである。また、本文書は、NITRDプログラムと国家人工知能イニシアチブ局（National Artificial Intelligence Initiative Office: NAIIO）が発表した、「2023年度大統領予算補足文書（Supplement to the President’s FY 2023 Budget）」の付属文書である。
