ローレンス・リバモア国立研究所（Larence Livermore National Laboratory: LLNL）は、AIを活用して抗体及び抗体様分子の設計に革命をもたらすことを狙いとしたパイオニア・プロジェクトに取り組んでいる。プロジェクトは、医療高等研究計画局（Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health：ARPA-H）とエネルギー省（Department of Energy）による省庁間契約の一部である。3年間のDeNOVOプロジェクトの下、LLNL等の機関は、高性能計算及びAIを用いて抗体設計の限界を広げることに取り組む。この取り組みは、LLNLの優れた計算能力を活用し、世界クラスの研究パートナーとの学際的協力を育成する。パートナーには、カリフォルニア大学サンフランシスコ校（University of California, San Francisco）、ワシントン大学タンパク質設計研究所（Institute for Protein Design at the University of Washington）、ロスアラモス国立研究所（Los Alamos National Laboratory）等がある。
