エネルギー省（Department of Energy）のデイビッド・サンダロー次官代理（David B. Sandalow, acting under secretary）が10日、退任の意向を発表した。同氏は、コロンビア大学国際公共学大学院（Columbia University School of International and Public Affairs）のグローバル・エネルギー政策センター（Center on Global Energy Policy）のフェロになるという。サンダロー氏は4年前に政策・国際問題担当次官補（assistant secretary for policy and international affairs）として入省したが、昨春以来、次官代理としてエネルギー効率や再生可能、原子力エネルギーなどを担当していた。
